Asian Book Discussion Club

Led by Morgan McLaughlin, this five-week book discussion club leads participants on a themed exploration of modern troubles. The two books are Yakuza Moon (prose format) by Shoko Tendo and Louise Heal, and My Only Child (graphic novel format) by Ning Wang.

A second session will take place in spring 2024 as a continuation on the same theme, with books Nothing to Envy by journalist Barbara Demick and Moms by Yeong-shin Ma.
