Fashioning Chinese Women: Empire to Modernity

Join us at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA) for a special educator tour of "Fashioning Chinese Women: Empire to Modernity, exploring Chinese history, identity, and social change through the evolution of the qipao and other garments from the Qing Dynast to the 1960s. The program includes a guided docent tour of the exhibition, a facilitated discussion on classroom connections, and a teacher sharing session focused on instructional strategies. Participants will receive complimentary museum admission, lunch, parking, and a certificate documenting two hours of professional development.
