Join us for an engaging exploration of Onibi: Diary of a Yokai Ghost Hunter by Atelier Sentô (Cécile Brun & Olivier Pichard) — a vibrant graphic journey into rural Japan where two young travellers uncover the invisible world of yokai (a class of supernatural beings from Japanese folklore) through a mysterious camera. With watercolor and colored-pencil art, the story weaves travelogues, Japanese folklore and spirit legends into a beautifully illustrated escape.
The first 25 participants will receive a free copy of the book, and local (Los Angeles) participants will receive a free ticket to the exhibition at USC Pacific Asia Museum.
