Pacific Maritime Trade: Visit to the New Bedford Whaling Museum

Spend the morning with the Five College Center for East Asian Studies at the New Bedford Whaling Museum in New Bedford, MA and explore Pacific maritime trade, whaling, and more. Join with colleagues and take a deep dive into the Wider World & Scrimshaw gallery before moving on to the East Meets West gallery. We'll wrap up the morning by sharing ideas on classroom applications for what we've learned.
