Teaching East Asia and the West
The two-day institute will include university faculty and master teachers who will be instructors for sessions on East Asia and comparative topics appropriate for teachers. Examples of possible institute topics include “The Geographies of East Asia and the US, ” “East Asian Economic ‘Miracles’: Government Planning or Private Entrepreneurs?,” “East Asian and Western Belief Systems,” “East Asian History,” and “US–China Relations.”
