Attend the 2025 Global Education Symposium and be part of this workshop discussing how to integrate geography and politics to examine East Asia. Join Dr. Carrie Liu Currier, a professional of political science at Texas Christian University, in a discussion on the five themes of geography: location, place, human-environment interaction, movement, and regions to examine how to apply these themes in various Asian countries and in subnational contexts and explore ways to create geography projects that illustrate student competency in these themes.
This workshop is part of the Houston Global Education Symposium presented by the Asia Society and University of Houston Institute for Global Engagement with a focus is on how the creative integration of artificial intelligence and the arts can transform teaching and learning in diverse classrooms.
